o tackle food insecurity and empower local livelihoods, Ummah Care Foundation (UCF) runs two impactful initiatives: Sasti Roti Junctions No. 1 & 2 and the UCF Fruit Cart (Carry) Project.
At our Sasti Roti Junctions, we provide fresh, warm rotis daily at just Rs. 8 each, making it possible for the poorest families, daily wage workers, and elderly individuals to afford a nourishing meal. These junctions are set up in easily accessible areas to reach those who need support the most, offering not just food — but dignity, care, and hope.
Meanwhile, the Fruit Cart (Carry) Project empowers unemployed individuals by donating fully-stocked fruit stalls. These carts are filled with seasonal fruits like bananas, apples, guavas, and oranges, giving beneficiaries the opportunity to earn an income and support their families. It’s a sustainable model that transforms aid into self-employment and restores livelihoods.
Together, these projects serve both immediate and long-term needs feeding the hungry and helping people stand on their own feet with pride and purpose.
